Biology Chapter 6 “Chemistry”

· Course information and description: This course is a two week expedition that explores the relationship between chemistry and biology. It attempts to share how biological structures operate within the rules of chemistry. This course focuses on specific objectives that highlight biological molecules and the role carbon plays in organic compounds. It uses multiple collaborative approaches to present interesting concepts in Biology and Chemistry.

Learning objectives: To increase students understanding of the basic biological molecules and their role in all organisms.

Assignment information: Student will be responsible for discussion and assignments as listed in the discussion and assignment page. Any late assignments must be discussed with instructor be submission.

Grading scale: Grades will range from:
60%- 69% for a D
70% - 79% for a C
80% - 89% for a B
90% - 100% for a A
Student roles and expectations: Students are expected to be courteous to their peers, They are also expected to have integrity when completing assignments and interacting with their peers

Instructor role and commitments: Instructor will define and guide students in this mini course. The instructor will also clarify and reteach any concepts that need to be retaught. Conference times to talk to the instructor will be between 7:00 AM until 9:00 PM. Daily. The instructor will be available for conference upon appointment.
